My name is Faith Noelle and I honestly can say I’m blessed behind the chair. Im from the heart of Midlothian, Virginia. Being in this industry is so rewarding, we get to love on people and make them feel amazing! I’ve been on my journey as a hair stylist for almost 5 years and God has truly stretched my faith in myself and my career. Close to a year ago He called me out of my comfort zone in the salon to put me in a whole new space. I went into business working for myself but alongside my sister-in-law. We knew we wanted to create an atmosphere where we could make people feel beautiful from the inside out.
It was a big risk, but God always provides. We decided to be different and play worship music in our salon to set the aroma and have each day be positive and full of love. Sometimes we’ve had clients come in that are going through rough times and we will even pray for them. I invite guests to church, not in a pushy way but just an open door invite where they are welcome. I’ve had some guests come and even begin to follow Christ, how cool is that? At the end of the day, we are the church. It is still important to respect everyone’s beliefs and not push yours on them. But if we can be the light and spread love and not gossip, even that can plant a seed. Don’t get me wrong some days aren’t easy, and we can’t please everyone. I’ve struggled with that behind the chair, but no matter what I try to give each guest my best and be present. It’s a blessing what we can do and the talents God has gifted us as artists!
What has blessed you behind your chair?
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful I know that full well.”
