I’ve had to walk through the fire many times in my life…

I’ve been in this industry for a very long time (30 years to be exact) I knew what I wanted to do since I was 12 years old went to a vocational high school and had my license to do hair before I had my license to drive. I worked in a few salons starting at the age of 16 and finally found a home  at the age of 22 worked in the same salon for 20 years persevered peaks and valleys hustled and developed an amazing clientele about 14 years ago I started to work for L’Oreal professional as an artist and educator and recently found a position as a national artist for the company.

I love to mentor people and give them the confidence they need to hear to achieve their personal goals then  about five years ago I had stepped out in faith and opened up the first haircolor studio called the Color Café hair studio in Greenwich Connecticut started off with five people and grew my team to about 15 and also winning the best of the Gold Coast award for five consecutive years.

Although it’s all not been a bed of roses and had to walk through the fire plenty of times I’ve always landed back on my feet !

I’ve learned to master the little voice inside me that always says you’re not good enough or you can’t do this  but with God‘s strength knowing that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me I kept going

and if I can do it and set my goals high so can anyone else this is my life my passion my everything I am Blessed behind the chair.

Thank you Kim Sclafani
